Alfredo Méndez is an award-winning Industrial Designer with over 10 years of experience in product development, 3D visualization, and design innovation.
He studied Industrial Design at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in Mexico City, graduating in 2014. His passion for technology and innovation led him to co-found BitShake, an engineering and design agency, and Leopark, a mobility startup focused on parking solutions.
In 2020, he moved to Barcelona to pursue a Master’s in Research for Design & Innovation at ELISAVA. After returning to Mexico, he founded aendo, a design agency dedicated to solving complex problems through a context-driven approach.
Alongside his professional practice, Alfredo has been involved in design education for over six years, teaching at Tec de Monterrey and Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), specializing in technical drawing and rendering techniques.
As part of his passion for visualization, he has collaborated with KeyShot’s official channel, creating tutorials in English and Spanish that have helped designers worldwide master rendering techniques.
His YouTube channel, which began with KeyShot tutorials, has since evolved to cover broader topics relevant to industrial designers, including 3D visualization, AI-driven workflows, and design processes.
Alfredo’s work has been recognized internationally, receiving four Red Dot Awards, multiple National Design Awards, and A’ Design Awards, among others. His projects have been exhibited globally, reinforcing his impact in the design industry.
